Our journey in the pair lasted from 19.9. To 26.10.2017 i.e. a total of 35 days. In Hotels We slept 32 nights, the average price for a double bed with breakfast (poor american) was at EUR 100. Everything through Booking.com and in NYC via AirBnB. 2x we had a rented car: once from NYC to Niagaras for 2 days and then from SF via California back to SF for 16 days. The First booking through the Budget for about EUR 90, the second through Thrifty could be for a great EUR 291, if I could not be able to chatte the counter and I did not order unnecessary insurance for 150 EUR (otherwise I wanted to even make an upgrade of the car so that so much tenralo and charges on bridges for about 450 USD what I refused). So beware of the sweet aunt that sits behind the counter when renting the car!! In The second phase we went through a total of 5 564 km and, if I was well numbered, the petrol went out to an unbelievable EUR 240, i.e. some 4.3 EUR per 100 km, which in consumption of approx. 7 L is based on some EUR 0.6 per litre. Seattle-San Francisco – Train Coaststarlight Amtrak – bed (24 hours) 200 EUR 8. SF stay 2 days and farther already by car 9. SF-Los Angeles, 4 days stay in LA 10. LA-Palm Springs/rotating cable car at Mt. San Jacinto-NP Joshua Tree-Kingman 11. Kingman-Seligman (Route 66)-NP Grand Canyon-Page 12. Page-NP Lower Antilope-HorshoeBend-Monument Valley-Moab 13. Moab-NP Arches-NP Canyonland-Salina 14. Salina-NP Bryce Canyon-NP Zion-Las Vegas – stay 2 days in that Hoover Damm 15. Las Vegas – NP Death Valley – Mamooth Lake 16. Mamooth Lake-NP Mono Lake-NP Bodies (gold-Ocopan Skanzen)-Tioba pass-NP Yosemith Valley-Midpines 17. Midpines-NP Yosemith-Tree Rivers 18. Tree Rivers-NP Seqoia-NP Kings Canyon-Monterey 19.
